EVENTS AT THE NEWTON
A unique venue conveniently located in Central Phoenix near the light rail. As an adaptive reuse project by the renowned developers Venue Projects LLC and John Douglas Architects, The Newton offers a modern yet warm ambience with historic touches of the building's former roots, the iconic Beef Eaters Restaurant. The Newton is a beautiful venue for corporate events, mixers, meetings, conferences, non-profit events and more. The Newton's event spaces are available for parties of 10 or more by reservation.
The Commons
With the cozy fireplace and access to our First Draft Bar, The Commons is The Newton’s largest event space. The Commons offers two wall-mounted TV monitors, and a simple overhead audio system. Dependent upon room layout and seating requirements, The Commons can host 100 to 150 people.
The Meeting Room
The Newton’s Meeting Room offers a private space for your work conference, book club, or workshop! The Meeting Room is a flexible space. The room can transform into a happy hour mixer with high-tops, theater style seating up to 50, or conference style up to 35 people. This room offers one wall mounted monitor, large whiteboard and wi-fi access
The Boardroom
The Boardroom is a perfect room for a conference setting and can comfortably sit 14 people. The Boardroom has one wall mounted monitor, large whiteboard and wi-fi access.

Each event reservation includes exclusive use of the space, free parking, Wi-Fi, limited audio/visual equipment, tables/chairs, and on-site catering as available.

CATERING & BEVERAGES
First Draft Book Bar is the exclusive provider for all alcoholic beverage service, and serves beer and wine only. First Draft can also provide pastry trays, coffee and tea service.
Toasted Owl can provide breakfast and lunch catering (including excellent Gluten Free and Dairy Free options). Tesota can provide brunch, lunch, and dinner.
We also partner with our neighbor’s at Lylo Swim Club (Rise Uptown Hotel) who have developed a special catering menu just for guests of The Newton.
For other options and for dinner options, we can offer catering suggestions.
All food and beverage must be supplied by a licensed and health inspected establishment. Anything prepared in a home kitchen is prohibited.
There is a venue fee starting at $50 for external catering. This may fluctuate based on group size and needs.
All catering is subject to a gratuity fee.
